Commissioned to Congo

The Messenger Lab empowers missionaries Don and Jenya Foster in the DRC.

Every year, In Touch Ministries looks to make new strategic partnerships with pastors and missionaries carrying the gospel to the ends of the earth. One such couple, Don and Jenya Foster, credit the In Touch Messenger Lab with helping them minister in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Thanks to the support of our partners, Don and Jenya have the resources to reach the people of the Congo with the word of God—in their own languages. They’re able to share the teachings of Dr. Charles Stanley to a people desperate for discipleship, including the remote Mbuti Pygmies of eastern Congo.

For Don and Jenya, the DRC is a land full of promise—a home to “the least of these” that is a field ripe for the harvest: the exact kind of place Jesus wants His followers to pursue the lost and the broken. And it’s because of Jesus—and Him alone—that the Fosters have given their lives to the people of the Congo. In their minds, there’s no question they are helping to fulfill the Great Commission.
